Hawk Chemical was founded by Joe Santa Maria, a chemist whose career in the chemical industry began more than six decades ago. After earning a degree in Chemistry from the City University of New York, Joe spent more than 40 years building his career with a leading chemical distribution company before founding Hawk Chemical with a simple vision: to provide reliable supply, trusted service, and lasting partnerships.

For more than 25 years, that vision has shaped our company. Today, Hawk Chemical partners with manufacturers across North America, providing dependable sourcing, responsive service, and the expertise our customers rely on.
